Hyundai Aesthetics's SpecializedContour Revision Surgery?
If the results after the first facial contouring surgery are unsatisfactory or asymmetrical,
revision surgery may be necessary because functional and aesthetic issues can arise.
Because revision surgery can place a significant burden on the patient, it must be performed carefully based on an accurate diagnosis.

- Why contour revision surgery is difficult
- Because bone has already been resected, careful consideration and precise diagnosis are required
- In revision surgery using osteotomy, there may be insufficient space for fixation
- Improvement of functional issues caused by inflammation or nonunion

- When contour revision surgery is needed
- Case 01. When the surgical results are unsatisfactory
- Case 02. When the face looks unnatural after surgery
- Case 03. When fixation pins have loosened or proper adhesion has not occurred
Contour Revision Surgery Q&A
Q1. A lot of bone was shaved down. Can it be restored?
Yes! It is possible at Hyundai Aesthetics.
If excessive bone was removed during the initial surgery, the deficient bone can be restored using autologous tissue, or
a customized implant can be created with 3D printing technology to match the patient's face for a natural improvement.
Q2. I want to correct it quickly. When can revision surgery be performed?
Revision surgery should be performed only after the bone and tissue damaged by the initial surgery have fully healed.
Otherwise, it may cause additional side effects, so a diagnosis is performed after 6 months to determine whether revision surgery can proceed.
Precautions After Contour Revision Surgery
Keep your head elevated above your heart to help reduce swelling after surgery.
Wear a facial compression band for about 5 days. (Wear for 30~40 minutes, rest for 10 minutes)
Apply cold compresses for the first week, then switch to warm compresses afterward.
After surgery, you may consume a liquid diet (drinks), and gargling is essential.
A regular diet is possible after 7 days, but hard and tough foods should be avoided for 4 weeks.
It is best to avoid smoking, alcohol, and saunas for one month.
Shampooing and showering are possible from 2~3 days after surgery.
